Elena joined the team as a recruiter, researcher, and wordsmith in May 2023. Coming from a background in academia as a professor of feminist and queer studies, Elena uses her research skills to help the team recruit affiliates, her writing expertise in crafting Lab6 Media blog posts and more, and her systems thinking to support team cross-functionality across various platforms.
She is the lead singer of the band Hen in the Foxhouse and lives between the Hudson Valley, NY and Nashville, TN.
