I recently had the pleasure of being a guest again of James Martell on his long running Affiliate Buzz podcast! I’ve known James and his lovely wife Arlene for many years and he does a fantastic job, not only as an affiliate, but as an educator in the online marketing space as well. Affiliate Buzz is the longest running podcast dedicated to the affiliate marketing industry with hundreds of episodes packed with information for both seasoned affiliates and merchants and those who are new to the space.
The focus of our discussion for this episode was Black Friday and the holiday shopping season. Though we only had 30 minutes, we managed to cover quite a few topics ranging from the basics of how merchants can prepare their affiliate programs for Black Friday and a variety of things that affiliates can do to get their sites ready, to several upcoming affiliate and blogger conferences.
