This year, we also have two new ways that affiliates can take advantage of this partnership; by joining the Humble Bundle partner program and by including coupon redemption information in your asset recommendations.
2022 Unity x Humble Bundle
The Unity x Humble Bundle partnership started in 2018. This year, the sale will start from September 1st with the first of two distinct Games Development Bundles focused on Tools and Art. Both bundles will be available for three weeks and each contain 25 unique art and tool assets. The “Tool” focused bundle will launch on September 1, 2022 and the “Art” focused bundle will launch a week later on September 8, 2022 as a surprise!
Because Humble Bundle is a third party, you won’t be able to earn commissions through Partnerize for this promotion as usual. However, we would like to encourage you to apply to the Humble Bundle affiliate program so you can continue to earn commissions for these two bundles. Tier 3 of the Unity Art & Tool bundles on Humble Bundle also include an exclusive discount coupon for anything at the Asset Store, and users who purchase the bundle from Humble Bundle’s site must then redeem their codes on the Unity Asset Store. Linking Directly to Assets
Affiliates can link directly to specific products or sets of products using our Linkmaker Tool.
- Visit our Linkmaker Tool
- Enter your affiliate ID and click “Apply”. Any link you generate with Linkmaker will automatically include your Affiliate ID as long as you include this step. (Your AID is: [camref,fallback=”] )
- Search for the Asset Store Product, Package, or List you wish to create a link for
- Click the “Create Link” button below your selected asset
- Select the type of link you wish to use by using the radio buttons next to the selections. You can create a large or small widget, text link, static banner, or direct link. The code will automatically update for you in the box at the bottom of the page.
- Select the HTML tracking code and place it on your site
You can link to both paid and free assets in this manner.
